A begger girl's touching story

From a friend...

A GOLDEN HEART:

"I made a new friend. She is Leila, one of those Fulani’s from Mali who beg for alms at the Accra mall. She approached me  smiled and spoke pidgin.Auntie "make u give me money make i buy food chop'.. I smiled back and said I  have not eaten since morning myself..she asked if it was true ...I said yeah... she then handed me all the coins she had in hand... I asked if she is sure i could use the money...She replied Yes I  could...When I  counted the money, it was just a cedi and 10p... I told her it wont be enough...she asked me to wait for a minute...She went to check where she keeps her money and brought back  4cedis...She said 5 cedis should be enough to buy rice... I  told her i would need water she then asked me to wait so she begs  for some money for me, after  10 minutes she came back with 50 pesewas from her brother and said she can direct me to a canteen...I  followed her. While engaging her in conversation, people just starred at us.Others advised  i shouldn't mind her. I told them she wasn't begging for money.

I distracted her with question while we waited. She is js 10 years. I asked why she gave me all the money. She replied "ibi u dey hungry auntie, i go fit beg for money but u no go fit, so just take am".At  this point i had tears in my eyes.People were wondering what conversation we were having..She asked that i take photos with her. When my friend arrived she told her to make sure i get food to eat. I asked her to take back her money. She looked very disappointed and asked why, I  told her i just needed company while i waited..."

Wow....what a touching story! I believe you and I would agree that Leila has a heart of gold. How many of us will give wholeheartedly to people who need our help in trying times as this young lady did. This is love. She loves her neighbour as herself or more than herself. I  pray that Leila will never lack anything in life.

Mourinho will bring Manchester united legend back

According to the Daily Mirror,  Jose Mourinho wants to bring Rio Ferdinand back to Manchester United as part of his coaching staff.

Manchester United have finally appointed Jose Mourinho as manager of the club after months of speculation. The tactician has signed a three year contract with the club after Louis van Gaal’s sacking .

The source reports that Mourinho believes the former centre-back has ‘outstanding qualities’ and has made enquiries about the 37-year-old’s availability. it should be noted that Ferdinand currently works as a pundit for BT Sport and will be part of the BBC’s team for Euro 2016.

Previously Ferdinand, who made over 400 appearances for United, winning six Premier League titles and one Champions League crown said: “Congratulations to Jose on being announced manager of the biggest club in the world! This is Jose Mourinho’s most exciting & most challenging job yet.”

He continued: “The first thing he needs to do is install ‘winning mentality’ back into the club. Get this ingredient back into the players but also the people that work inside the club day to day. Give them back that belief so it is breathing throughout the club again, which is so important. But doing the above in the Manchester United way is equally as important.”

Ferdinand added: “I have heard many say the ‘Mourinho WAY’ is not the Manchester United style of playing football. However, the Chelsea team that Jose put together first time round when he entered the Premier League played with wingers and hurt teams with quick attacking play. They had the likes of [Arjen] Robben and [Damien] Duff on the wings who were direct and quick. This is a sign he knows how to get a team playing in a way Manchester United fans can look forward to seeing.”

A Dubai bound Emirates flight made an emergency landing in Lagos due to the deteriorating health condition of a suspected cocaine trafficker

An Emirates flight EK 262 from Sao Paulo, Brazil to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, made an emergency landing in Lagos due to the deteriorating health condition of a suspected cocaine trafficker who was onboard the plane yesterday May 28th. Screening by the NDLEA officials found four passengers positive for drug ingestion who are currently under interrogation.

One of the suspects in critical condition was immediately hospitalized as doctors battled to save his life.

Speaking on the incident, the NDLEA commander at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos, Ahmadu Garba, said the Emirates flight left Sao Paulo, Brazil to Dubai but was forced to make an emergency landing in Lagos due to the health condition of a passenger on board who ingested cocaine.

“A passenger complained of severe abdominal pains and later suffered three recurrent seizures thus necessitating an emergency landing in Lagos. Upon arrival, four passengers tested positive for narcotic ingestion. They are Okeh Desmond, Ezeanya Nnaemeka, Christopher Nonso and Chibusi Promise. All the suspects are under observation,” Garba said.
